Looks like being a great quarterback might just run in the family. Dylan Favre has now passed for 43 touchdown passes this season. We was sharing with the record with Clifton Davis III at North Panola (1990) and Jami Boland of Nettleton (2006). Davis and Boland were both seniors when they threw their 42 touchdowns.
Favre is a 180 lb Junior from St. Stanislaus. So he has another season to go to add to his career touchdown passes of 79. He now ranks 7th all time for the state record for his career.
Dylan Favre is of course the nephew of New York Jets Quarterback Brett Favre, who has some passing records to his name as well.
The young Favre's team is now at 8-2 for the season.
